The Chickcharnie Hotel gets its name from a mystical animal that is said to be half human and half bird. The myth alleges that this animal lures individuals into the pine forest and loses them. If you see one, do not let them see you, because they will automatically make you dizzy, and you will never find your way out of the pine forest. Our hotel is quite a distance from the forest, so we have very little to fear. Our hotel features a restaurant offering Bahamian cuisine and a small shopping centre. We can provide bonefishing guides to explore the flats all year, with at least 24 hours notice. Bicycles and Taxis are also available on request.
