At Mangrove Cay Inn, you can eat all of the Noni fruit that you want and drink all of the Noni tea that you want, free with your stay. It is only one of the ways that you can refresh yourself here; another is the peaceful environment that helps you rediscover the simple things in life, like the musical sound of the waves rolling up to the shore. Our spacious, warm and inviting Inn offers a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the fast “city” life. It is the perfect setting for a family or fishing trip and our family-style lodging provides a “home away from home”atmosphere, while offering all of the usual vacation amenities. Our staff will spoil you and treat you like a King and Queen during your stay with us. We have 12 rustic, cabin-style rooms, with ceiling fans, air-conditioning and a private bath in each room. We also have two lake-view cottages, facing an in-land, saltwater lake, with Tarpon fish just waiting to be caught. One cottage has three large bedrooms, with two bathrooms, a full kitchen and dining facilities. The other is a one-bedroom cottage that can make a truly private getaway for a couple, or for fishermen who just want privacy. Both cottages have kitchen facilities and daily maid service included in the rate. Self-service laundry facilities are on the premises and Internet service is available in the office. On our property we have a full-service dining room, offering home cooked meals, homemade breads and desserts. Bahamian and American dishes are the specialty of the house. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are served daily. Cool Tropical drinks are shaken to order. Our facilities also include a Gift Shop, offering native crafts, souvenirs, and Androsia prints to take with you as a memento of your vacation, in addition to personal care items. You can sunbathe just outside your room, at the lake or at the beach, just a short stroll away. But if you prefer other activities, you can take advantage of the great shelling on the beach, canoe on the lake, take a nature walk to nearby blue holes, or we can arrange birdwatching and bone-fishing tours. We also have bicycles for rent by guests of the Inn. Riding around Mangrove Cay and talking with the locals will be an experience that you never forget. "Mangrovians," the people of Mangrove Cay, are friendly and warm, and they are always ready to share their life experiences. For your evening's entertainment, satellite TV is available in the lounge. It is also a great place to meet visitors and locals, particularly on Friday nights and during our special celebration on New Year's Eve.
