My name is Erin Harris-Williams and my husband is Corey Williams. We are both 32 years old and reside in LaPlace, LA, a small suburb approximately 26 miles outside of the city of New Orleans, LA. Ten years ago, on the Breezes Bahamas property we exchanged nuptials before Rev. Dr. William Miller, and the heavens. Just last week we were there again celebrating our ten-year wedding anniversary and renewing our wedding vows. To our pleasant surprise, again to perform the ceremony was Rev. Dr. William Miller at Breezes. The wedding coordinators (Yasmine Mills-Strachan and Crystal Seymour) and their staff were more than accommodating and made the vow renewal seem extremely effortless.
This is just a testimony of the authenticity of the Bahamian heart and the undying natural beauty of the island that has brought us back and hopefully will continue to bring us back at least every ten years or sometimes sooner. It was truly inspiring to have the same Reverend perform our wedding and our vow renewal and I am certain that he was equally joyed. I wouldn’t trade my island wedding for a traditional American wedding ever. Doing it that way has so much more meaning and the memories are everlasting. What better way to get a wedding, honeymoon, and a vacation all rolled into one!
