The buildings that made up the Royal Victoria Hotel, located in the Royal Victoria Gardens on Shirley Street just opposite the Nassau Public Library, were built by the Bahamas Government in August 1861. During the American Civil War the hotel was the centre of business and social activities.

Sarah's Secrets is primarily a ladies resort wear boutique, conveniently located in the Prince George Plaza downtown Bay Street.
Saunders Beach is located east of the resort area of Cable Beach. Although it is popular for visitors, this beach is a favorite to locals as well. It's lined with tropical trees and provides a beautiful view, especially at twilight.
