Murtin Thompson, locally known as DJ Boogie, is one of Andros' top disc jockeys. He performs for banquets, weddings, parties, concerts, festivals, formal and informal gatherings, church or school functions and much much more.
About a half mile south of Pleasant Harbour, it includes eight historical stone buildings dating back to the 1930s. The buildings represent vintage Bahamian-style architecture and are open for exploration. It's unknown why the colony was abandoned and never inhabited.

The pine forest is made up of a variety of shrubs and hardwood trees, which were used as a main source to provide timbers for boat building and fencing.

Located on the southern-most tip of the island, Pleasant Bay Beach is home to the annual Coconut Festival held during the Bahamas Independence weekend in South Andros.
Mr. Smith has been in the industry over 20 years. He started out as a bonefish guide, and developed his skills now as a property owner. He is also an instructor in Salt Water Fly Fishing, and has had opportunities to fish with some of the greatest names in the fly fishing industry.
