Situated in Gregory Town, The Thompson's monument was dedicated to the memory of Sanator, the Honorable George Layman Thompson, 1920 - 1983. Mr. Thompson was also Justice of the Peace in Gregory Town for 40 years. The metal sculpture and flag pole were both erected by Jimmy Headbury and is the symbol of hospitality in Gregory Town. The names of the Thompson Brothers were George Layman Thompson, Sr., Thomas Emmanuel Thompson, Lewis Thompson, Sr., and Samuel Thompson.
