Along the roadside between Alice Town and Gregory Town, there are a number of silos. These silos were once use for storing cow food and was owned by the Hatchet Bay Plantation. The silos stand out against the sky and are no doubt a good demarcation for airplane pilots. The silos make excellent landmarks when steering for Hatchet Bay from Nassau via boat.
