Overview

Located at the northern end of the island, Columbus Point is the location of the Columbus Monument. Atop a high cliff overlooking the ocean, the monument was built as a memorial of Columbus' landing there on his first voyage in 1492, said to be his third stop after San Salvador and Rum Cay. This is a popular point of interest for visitors to take pictures because of the spectacular views of the island.
