Overview
Founded in 1959 by Lady Arthur, the wife of the then-Governor of The Bahamas, Sir Raynor Arthur, The Bahamas Historical Society is a non-profit cultural and educational organization dedicated to stimulating interest in Bahamian History and to the collection and preservation of material relating to that history. The museum hours:Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
