Cat Cay is a coral strand with gleaming white beaches, washed by the silver crested sapphire waves of the Atlantic Ocean. The island, two and a quarter miles across and a half mile wide is located on the western edge of the four-meter deep Bahama Bank where anglers go for marlin, bluefin tuna, wahoo, and other big game fish. Miami is located a short 50 miles west and Bimini island lies 8 miles to the north. Cat Cay Yacht Club is a private club with facilities located on North Cat Cay, Commonwealth Of The Bahamas. The club has no direct or indirect relationship with any present or future development of South Cat Cay, an entirely separate island.
