We will introduce you to the island's history and folklore. En route to the village of West End, we will pass through Sea Grape, Eight Mile Rock and Holmes Rock. Hear some of the old Bahamian Folk Stories. Learn how Deadman's Reef got its name during prohibition era in the 1920's and 1930's. Enjoy the stories of Al Capone and others during prohibition. We will drive through West End, a former Basin of Rum Runners frequented by Al Capone during the bootlegging days when the USA was dry. You will have the opportunity to stroll in the street while shopping for souvenirs, bargains at the local shops and sample native dishes in the village restaurants.
