The Ministry Of Tourism's Long Island Office provides assistance to visitors who fly in and out of Long Island. The office helps to promote the island in a positive way, by arranging beach clean-ups; sponsoring major events on the island; conducting tours for visiting journalists, fly-in groups, photographers, TV producers, etc.; and assisting local hotel employees through training such as Bahamahost. At the office there are pamphlets for the various hotels, restaurants and real estate offices, maps of Long Island and our very own visitor's guide.
