Overview

The Main House at Halvorson House has a second-story restaurant with an open front kitchen and spacious dining room. The honor beverage system features soda, juice, delicious virgin daiquiris and fruit smoothies. Enjoy the only custom coffee around - latte, cappuccino and ice blended mocha. The views of Bennett's Harbour and nearby Arthur's Town are stunning, especially at sunset. Guests can visit, eat, drink, and relax any time of the day. Alcohol is not served in the restaurant or at the resort. Breakfast buffet with fresh breads, fruits and made-to-order eggs, waffles and breakfast meats is served for guests from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Visitors to Cat not staying at HHVR are welcome to join us for breakfast with a reservation. (242) 359-9500. Lunch is served Monday - Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Delightful lunch treats include cracked conch, baguette sandwiches, pizza, quesadilla or chips with fresh salsa, green and fruit salads and daily fish or chicken specials. Dinner is by reservation for guests and visitors and is served at 7:30ish. Two entree options are offered nightly and guests select at the time of their reservation. Appetizer or starter, followed by an entree and then desert are offered for $20 - $45. We use local fish, seafood and produce as well as local bakery and pastry goods. Vegetarian dishes are always available. The Halvorson's like to take guests to a few local restaurants during their stay, such as Da Smoke Pot and Hot Spot. For rainy days or late mornings they are happy to bring your meal to your room. Pizza is available from noon to 8:30 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Sunday for lunch and to non-guest dinner reservations. During the holidays enjoy live entertainment and uniquely Bahamian events in the restaurant as well as on the beach. The HH Restaurant also caters to large groups and can host special events and parties.
