Overview
The Nassau Yacht Club was founded on September 9, 1931, with a mandate to promote yacht building and yacht racing, and particularly junior sailing. It is the home of sailing stalwarts Sir Durwood Knowles and Sloan Farrington - 1946 Silver Medalist World Championship, Havana and 1956 Bronze Medalist at the Olympics, Melbourne, Australia.
