This two-day, family-oriented event draws patrons from both the domestic and international spectrum. The Harvest Fest is a grand celebration of the bountiful natural resources of Andros and its creative people. Its objectives are to expose visitors to the local Bahamian hospitality; create a temporary marketplace for fishermen and farmers at the height of the traditional fishing season, and beginning of the winter fruit and vegetable harvest season; promote the consumption of traditional Bahamian foods, beverages and confectioneries; showcase Androsia textile, arts and craft items; stage quality family activities and great entertainment, including beach activities and competitions for children, singing, music, dancing, a fashion show and Junkanoo performances. Venue is the Lighthouse Club & Marina in Andros Town.
