Birding

The Exumas are ideal for bird watching with sanctuaries scattered across the islands, largest of which is the Exuma Land and Sea Park. Moriah Harbour Cay National Park is home to a variety of nesting seabirds such as the gull-billed and least terns, nighthawks, plovers, oyster-catchers and ospreys, whose habitats are the coppice and mangrove creeks.
