Beaches

Long Island's beaches are mainly on the Caribbean side. They range from small to very long; some are secluded, others are activity beaches. They either have coarse pink sand or yellow/white soft sand, with lots of small shells. Some are shaded by pine trees, others are great for snorkeling. Beautiful Cape Santa Maria Beach has been ranked among the best in the world.
