Make sure you’re legally married.

To be wed on any of The Out Islands, couples must be here for at least 24 hours prior to applying for a marriage license. No blood test is necessary. Birth certificates and/or notarized affidavits are required; if appropriate, you’ll also need divorce papers, a former spouse’s death certificate and parental consent if under 18.
