Squires Estate is a collection of six beautifully restored nineteenth-century homes on a scenic hillside set above Governor's Harbour. Part of the Bahamian Heritage of Historical Buildings, the properties beautifully exhibit the colonial-style Bahamian architectural tradition updated with modern conveniences. The private, discreet, well-appointed estate is located near the powdery pink sands of French Leave Beach and features gorgeous views of Cupid’s Cay. One property consists of Belmont House and two separate guests cottages called 'The Cottage' and 'The Junior Cottage' that are all laid out on more than an acre of beautiful gardens, situated at the top of Buccaneer Hill. The second property, few steps down, covers an acre and a half of tropical gardens and consists of three houses, Mrs. Russel's House, The Stone House and Toad's Hall.
