This spectacular property is ideally located in downtown Nassau on the site of Old Fort Nassau and the Bahamas' only private beach, just 25 minutes from Lynden Pindling International Airport.
Originally built by Henry Flagler and called Hotel Colonial, it was destroyed by fire in 1922. The property was later purchased after World War II by Sir Harry Oakes who re-built and renamed it British Colonial Hotel.
Though it has changed hands since, having recently undergone a multi-million dollar renovation throughout the property, this hotel still maintains it old Colonial charm; offering a taste of the island's rich Colonial history, along with some of the most modern amenities for both business and vacation travelers.
