Potter's Cay is home to a variety of vendors - some in the farmer's market, offering local fruits and vegetables, fishermen with seafood fresh from the ocean, and others serving various Bahamian dishes for breakfast lunch and dinner. It is open every day from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.; some vendors are closed on Sundays.

A Police Station and a Dock Master's office are located at the Eastern side of the dock.
