The Bahamian Field Station, occupying an old U. S. Navy base, has been operating for many years as a centre for academic research in the areas of Archaeology, Biology, Geology and Marine Sciences. It provides accommodations and air transportation arrangements for professors who wish to teach their students in this unique environment.
