Located in Seymour’s at the very northern end of the island is Columbus’ Point and the location of the Columbus Monument. Atop of a high cliff overlooking the ocean is a monument that was built as a memorial of his landing there on his first voyage in 1492 and it is believed to be his 3rd stop after San Salvador and Rum Cay. There is a spectacular view from the top of the cliff and is a very popular place for tourist.
