The place to be at nightfall is the King’s Highway in Alice Town, North Bimini, where you can take a break from island hopping for some bar hopping—with all the bars within walking distance. A unique spot is the End of the World Bar or Sand Bar, a famous Bimini watering hole where the walls are decorated with underwear donated by visitors. The bar at Ebbie’s Bonefish Club sits over the water and is the perfect place to end the day, with your choice of cocktails while watching the sunset. Each of the resorts on North and South Bimini also has its own nightspot, if you don’t wish to venture out. You’re sure to find music and dancing at several of the hangouts on some evenings and most weekends. The Prime Time Band makes regular appearances at Mackey’s Sand Bar at Bimini Sands. Stevie S, a local and national favorite, often performs Rake & Scrape music at Big John’s.
