Sir Milo Butler Park Beach

This beach in Port Nelson was named in honor of the first Bahamian Governor-General of The Bahamas. Considered part of the town square, it adjoins a park with the same name, and is the center of most celebratory activities here. It has benches, swings and stalls offering fresh-cooked meals on weekends and holidays. Locals also hang out here to play dominoes and children swim daily during warm weather.
