Ten Bay Cave, also known as Bat Cave, is located South of Palmetto Point and North of Ten Bay Beach. There are no stalagmites or stalactites there – only bats. At least two colonies of leaf-nosed bats live there.
The Authentically Bahamian Marketplace, sponsored by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, features handmade Bahamian Craft and Souvenir products. It is held each Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., at Pompey Square, in downtown Nassau.
Every Saturday, Neely's offers down-home Bahamian cuisine, including conch and rice, fried fish, conch fritters, and conch salad. They are located under a tree, as the name implies, just off the causeway.
