Lucayan Tropical Farmer's Market (Lucayan Tropical Produce) commonly referred to as LTP, is a hydroponic greenhouse operation founded in August 2001 by Bahamian seeking to improve the quality of produce available in the country. LTP provides the local and tourist markets with fresh, wholesome products at competitive prices while striving to minimize the time and temperature fluctuations incurred from harvest to consumption. It uses the latest technology of greenhouse and hydroponic production techniques to produce the highest quality produce possible.
LTP is located one mile west of the Lynden Pindling Airport, but they also bring the Farmer's Market to you at the Town Center Mall, where you can discover authentic culinary treasures and a cool, local vibe. The Market offers fresh produce from LTP's greenhouse and fields, and from other local farms. It also stocks an excellent supply of delicious native honey, preserves, pepper sauces and chutneys, native desserts, handcrafted soaps, and serendipitous, seasonal delicacies. Tours of its facilities at Industrial Park are available.
