Tamboo Club

  • American, Caribbean

Formerly a private club, we are now open to the public for dinner on Saturday evenings only. We serve local and international cuisine. Dress code is formal. Originally, Tamboo is said to have been the name of a small boat owned by some Florida fishermen, who owned a small house overlooking the marina. When Great Harbour Cay was developed, their house was enlarged and turned into a restaurant. A few years later, the name was given to a new building, established as a private dining club to attract celebrities. That Club, pictured above, originally opened on December 31, 1971.
