Private Boats
Grand Bahama Island has eight marinas, most fully equipped with electricity hubs, waste-disposal units and fuel stations. Six of them are Official Ports of Entry:
- Bradford Marine Bahamas Yacht & Ship Yard
- Grand Bahama Yacht Club
- Lucayan Harbour Cruise Facility
- Old Bahama Bay Marina (West End Marina)
- Port Lucaya Marina
- Sunrise Resort & Marina
Visiting boaters must clear Customs and Immigration at the nearest designated Port of Entry. As you enter port, fly the yellow quarantine flag and notify Customs of your arrival. No one other than the captain is permitted to leave the boat until your vessel has been cleared.
Private Flying
For private pilots, steering your own aircraft over the stunning watercolor scenery of our islands and landing on one of their 50-plus airstrips is truly one of the great joys of flying. Grand Bahama Island is a very popular flying destination and a Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) is available at the Grand Bahama International Airport to provide fueling and other support services.
