Mayaguana Airport (MYG) in Abraham's Bay is the only airport serving the island. It offers regular scheduled air service from Nassau provided by Bahamasair. Charter service can be arranged through any of the certified local and international carriers. By sea, there is mailboat service from Nassau to Abraham's Bay on a weekly basis.

Private Boats
Visiting boaters must clear Customs and Immigration at the nearest designated Official Port of Entry—the Government Dock at Abraham’s Bay. As you enter port, fly the yellow quarantine flag and notify Customs of your arrival. No one other than the captain is permitted to leave the boat until your vessel has been cleared. Suggested anchorage is the Abraham's Bay Dock, which is five minutes from the Administrator's Office.
