The 1st Annual Mutton Festival seeks to promote sheep and goat farming on the island, as well as provide persons attending the festival the opportunity to sample various mutton dishes. There will be sheep and goat races, an animal judging contest, culinary competition among various restaurants, art competition between students from the high schools, lots of food, games, music and fun for the entire family.

Venue is the Community Center Grounds in Clarence Town, South Long Island.
