Shop Mayaguana

Several small general stores throughout the island offer provisions and homemade Bahamian bread and pastries. Handmade, authentically Bahamian shell jewelry, straw creations and other gift items are available from a few in the local arts and craft cottage industry. Souvenir items and local delicacies can also be purchased during the annual homecoming festivals in the three settlements—Betsy Bay in April, Abraham’s Bay and Pirate’s Well in late July.
