Sports On The Abacos

Two golf courses are found in The Abacos, at Treasure Cay Resort on Great Abaco and at Bakers Bay Resort on Great Guana Cay. They are mere feet above sea level and offer fairways and greens that await golfers eager to bring their game to a new level. The beautiful scenery can turn even a bad round into a flawless day of vacation. You can play tennis on three different surfaces here, some lighted for night play. At Treasure Cay Resort, there are four hard courts, and one clay court; racquets and balls are also available for rental. Baker’s Bay has two hard surface clay courts and Abaco Beach Resort has two hard surface courts. The courts are free to guests at the resorts. Some resorts offer bicycles for use of their guests; rental bicycles are available in several areas.
