Sports On Rum Cay

Sports On Rum Cay

You won’t find a golf or tennis court here, but that doesn’t mean there are no opportunities to work up a sweat. Locals get their exercise the traditional way—by biking, jogging or walking from Port Nelson to Port Boyd in the North (approximately six miles). The main road is paved to a point and beyond that the trail is still smooth, so you will have an easy time. There are no bicycle rental companies, but don't hesitate to negotiate with one of the locals to use their bike if you see one lying around. More often than not, they’ll let you have it at no charge.

Bike or jog with ease along the flat terrain of the trail. Hills at Black Bluff, Cottonfield Point, and White Bluff can offer an invigorating challenge, but will be worth the trip.
