Junkanoo is an expression of Bahamian art and culture. Large groups parade along Bay Street in downtown Nassau with elaborate costumes, dancing or playing goatskin drums, horns, bells, or whistles, as thousands watch and dance along.
Marathon Bahamas is part of the Sunshine Insurance Race Weekend, which features an event for every fitness level—a marathon, half marathon, 4-person relay and the Susan G. Komen Bahamas Race for the Cure 5K.
