Water Sports On Grand Bahama Island

Water Sports On Grand Bahama Island

With water temperatures averaging about 80 degrees Fahrenheit year-round, water sports are naturally a popular vacation activity. Throw on a swimsuit. Grab a towel. And get started. Kayak tours take you through the mangroves of Gold Rock Creek, where you can see up close where lots of marine animals start their life, and also where several unique birds live. You can also kayak to a small cay (within the barrier reef) where you can go snorkeling and see an abundance of marine life. Kayaks, wave runners, Hobie cats, paddle boats and windsurfing boards are available for rent. Banana boat rides and parasailing are also available.
