Water Sports On San Salvador

Water Sports On San Salvador

Snorkel in waters just off the beach at your hotel, at any public beach or take a snorkeling tour to sites like the entrance to Pigeon Creek. In most places your group will be the only ones on the reef. You’ll see barracudas, coral clusters and the spotted eagle ray. Equipment—snorkel, mask, fins and life jacket—is available. Several companies offer boating tours that include beachcombing, games and picnicking, or you can create your own custom-made trip. There is the option to go kayaking on your own or with an escorted tour to the lakes, plus kite-boarding and waterskiing in a breathtaking setting. Surfing is ideal during the fall and winter months along the west coast. Awesome waves wrap flawlessly around the colorful coral reefs, breaking into crystal-blue warm waters.
