Cruise Passengers

Discover paradise the same way Columbus and Blackbeard did—by sea. As you sail away on your adventure, you’ll know you’ve reached paradise as soon as the ocean changes from murky to crystal blue. And when you step foot on our shore, you’ll be welcomed with many warm smiles and incredibly beautiful weather.

Just a one-night voyage away from Port Everglades and Port Canaveral, The Islands Of The Bahamas is located within close proximity to Miami. Our tropical archipelago is made up of 700 islands and thousands of cays—many reachable only by sea. And no matter which one you decide to visit, each one offers a wealth of activities and attractions. For instance, you can find bonefishing, diving, sailing and you can even see our famous West Indian flamingos and our amazing pink or white sand beaches.

As a member of the British Commonwealth, you will hear English and Bahamian English, a mixture of Queen’s diction, African influence and island dialect. If you’re interested in learning more about our language, our culture and our people, you can sign up for our People-to-People program. A volunteer host will share stories and meals and show you around. And when the time comes to leave The Bahamas, we’ll be just as sad to see you go as you are.
