The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism & Aviation is following guidance from the Bahamas Ministry of Health and other government agencies on the country’s Preparedness and Response Plan for COVID-19. Given the growing public health concern and to protect the health and well-being of the population of The Bahamas, Prime Minister, The Most Hon. Dr. Hubert Minnis has announced the enactment of Emergency Orders to be adhered to by the public.

According to Order 9— Restriction on social activities, individuals are temporarily not permitted to host or attend mass events and other public gatherings. Exceptions have been made for weddings and funerals that host no more than 10 people.

Based on this order and concerning the featured events listed on The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism & Aviation's website, it must be communicated that the information or details for these events may change at any given time and The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism & Aviation, or The Government of The Bahamas, will not be held liable for any decisions made based upon these changes.

It is also recommended for persons to contact event organizers directly to receive updates about specific events. On the other hand, event organizers who have event listings on the website are encouraged to provide the Ministry of Tourism & Aviation with updates about their events so that adjustments can be made.
