Unique Experiences: Graycliff’s Wine Luncheon
The historic Graycliff Hotel & Restaurant is located in the heart of downtown New Providence, and is home to a number of unique (and perhaps not so well known) experiences. Their decadent chocolates and chocolate making tours are one of their most popular attractions, but what many may not be familiar with is the hotel’s rich history, exceptional food, and their stellar wine selection.
Fun Fact: Graycliff hosts private dinners in their wine cellar, which is the third largest privately owned collection in the world.
Graycliff offers a daily Wine Luncheon that allows diners to sample world class Italian cuisine, courtesy of Executive Chef Elijah Bowe, as well as a selection of wine pairings served by the hotel’s in-house wine experts.
The multi-course meal selections are chosen by the Graycliff culinary team and each course is served with a perfectly paired wine. The menu & wines vary from season to season, but usually starts off with a sparkling wine cocktail to get dinners ready for an unforgettable experience.
While featured dishes will frequently change, a recent menu included a Bahamian Conch Chowder topped with a house-made herb pepper sauce, Brown Butter Sage Pasta, a pairing of Roasted Lamb & Pan Seared Salmon, a light cheese course, and finally, a rich Bread Pudding for dessert.
Graycliff also offers a daily a la carte lunch menu, but the Wine Luncheon is perfect for a special occasion, a celebration, or simply a memorable afternoon.
