The place to be at nightfall is the King’s Highway in Alice Town, where all the bars are within walking distance. A unique spot is the End of the World Bar or Sand Bar, a famous Bimini watering hole where the walls are decorated with underwear. The bar at Ebbie’s Bonefish Club sits over the water and is the perfect place to end the day. If you don’t wish to venture out, the resorts also have their own nightspots. You’re sure to find music and dancing at several of the hangouts on most weekends. The Prime Time Band appears regularly at Mackey’s Sand Bar. Stevie S, a national favorite, often performs Rake & Scrape music at Big John’s. And, local legend Nathaniel “Piccolo Pete” Saunders, will take out his banjo and play and sing for visitors anywhere, at any time.
