You won’t find a golf or tennis court here, but that doesn’t mean there are no opportunities to work up a sweat. Locals get their exercise the traditional way—by biking, jogging or walking from Port Nelson to Port Boyd in the North (approximately six miles). The main road is paved to a point and beyond that the trail is still smooth, so you will have a pretty easy time while going for a run. There are no bicycle rental companies, but don't hesitate to negotiate with one of the locals to use their bike if you see one lying around. More often than not, they’ll let you have it at no charge.
