National Morning Show Features Multiple Bahamas Experiences

Nassau, Bahamas – Feb 6, 2018 – Minister of Tourism, Hon. Dionisio D’Aguilar, and his executive team, were on set Monday, February 5, 2018 at Atlantis, Paradise Island as “Live with Kelly and Ryan” began four days of shows from The Bahamas. Minister D’Aguilar and team met the show’s hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest following Monday’s broadcast.

Hundreds of resort visitors and local groups were in the audience as the highly rated daytime show in the U.S. focused its cameras on the spectacular weather and culture of The Bahamas. Beyond the enthusiastic audience on set, millions of viewers will see The Bahamas stories the show has worked to put together.

In addition to showcasing Atlantis, Kelly and Ryan also ventured out to experience Bahamian food and island lifestyle, including:

  • A tasting tour of Nassau for Ryan that included Arawak Fish Fry, MacKenzie’s, and Sun & Ice
  • A catamaran castaway day for Kelly capped by a beach bonfire at Sandy Toes on Rose Island
  • Dolphin yoga and marine conservation for Kelly at Atlantis
  • Ryan’s Powerboat Adventure to The Exumas to feed sharks and rays

Roots Junkanoo kicked off the first show of the week and Baha Men will promote their new album as house band on Wednesday’s show.

The shows are the culmination of an integration that has included broadcast promotion, sweepstakes and social media from the show that are already driving interest in the destination.
