The locals tell the story of a beautiful young newlywed couple moving into this lovely home shortly after their glorious wedding. Some describe it as a fairy tale affair. However, shortly thereafter the couple had a terrible argument. It is said that the bride left the house very upset and the groom followed shortly afterward. Neither of them ever returned to the house and the building remained unoccupied from that day to this. Everything was left just as it was. The table was set for dinner; the food on the stove and all of their clothing and wedding gifts were left behind. Children playing on the grounds talked of seeing two figures in white floating about the house, hence the name haunted house. It is located in the southern part of the Island next to the Harbour Island Marina and Aquapazza Restaurant.
