Sip Sip, the celebrated Harbour Island eatery, is now open at The Cove Pool, with seating poolside and in the sand, on Paradise Beach. The barefoot, Bahamian feel, combined with a culinary experience featuring the freshest, locally sourced seasonal ingredients is only surpassed by the commitment to supporting local fishermen and farmers. Sip Sip’s favorites include the Spicy Conch Chili and Conch Salad, Lobster Quesadilla and Grouper Reuben. Dishes featuring limited fresh or seasonal ingredients, from Bahamian-grown arugula and heirloom tomatoes to pineapples and mangoes, are featured on the blackboard menu and change daily.
The dessert menu includes the famous Sip Sip Carrot Cake with Ginger Caramel, along with homemade ice creams and Fresh Coconut Cream Cheesecake. Chef Julie Lightbourn’s passion for savory, sweet and spicy “Caribterranean” flavors shines through in exclusive cocktail recipes created for The Cove, while popular “sips” include the signature Sip Sip Rum Punch, Sip Sip Sky Juice, a trio of Sip Sip Margaritas, Passion Fruit Sangria and the Watermelon-Vodka Cooler.
