It is said to be the oldest church in The Bahamas and is thought to have been built by the Spanish in the 1600s. Reverend John Rigand provided 100 pounds of sterling for the completion of the church in 1888, and the work started within the same year. The church's ruins still stand today, persons from all over the world look forward to visiting this historic church building. It is an awesome place to capture a beautiful sunset or host a wedding.
