Primeval Forest National Park

Primeval Forest National Park

Covering 7.5 acres of New Providences hardwood forest, the Primeval Forest National Park is a remarkable site to visit for the nature enthusiast. This relatively undisturbed area was established as a national park in 2002 and features a diverse collection of plant and animal life, along with sinkholes and limestone caverns up to 50 feet long and over 30 feet deep.

This park represents the standard that the Bahamas National Trust would like to incorporate in all national parks.
