Founded in 1959 by Lady Arthur, the wife of the then Governor of The Bahamas, Sir Raynor Arthur, The Bahamas Historical Society is a non-profit cultural and educational organization dedicated to stimulating interest in Bahamian History and to the collection and preservation of material relating to that history.  

Museum Hours: Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

NOTE: The Historical Society closed on August 1st and will reopen on September 10th.
