Birds

This is internationally recognized as a Key Biodiversity Area. It is a habitat for the San Salvador Rock Iguana, the highest diversity of nesting seabirds in The Bahamas (14 of 17 species), extensive sea-grass meadows, and healthy reef systems, like the critically endangered Elkhorn coral.
