Louis & Steen’s Expands With Market Orleans!
Several years ago, the Russell family opened their very first coffee shop - a bright, vibrant, colorful and eye catching spot on West Bay Street. Louis & Steen’s New Orleans Coffeehouse celebrated the family’s New Orleans roots, incorporating Louisiana cuisine, music and charm with a stunning ocean backdrop.
Their fresh-brewed coffee was sourced from around the world. Many of the recipes had been in the family for years, and the vibe was welcoming, with the Russell brood often working behind and in front of the scenes.
The Louis & Steen’s Beach House served as a community hub, with fresh flowers, an outdoor swing and lots of room for cafe guests to sit by the ocean while enjoying a beautiful day (or one of their special events or pop-up markets). But, in early 2021, the family opened their second location - Market Orleans.
Market Orleans is located in the One West Business Plaza, which is also home to the Kyma restaurant. The charming market is larger than its beachfront counterpart, but it still has the charm, whimsy and beautiful aesthetic that Louis & Steen’s is known for.
In addition to coffee, teas and pastries, Market Orleans’ menu includes breakfast favorites, lunch options that include a creamy Seafood Bisque and their popular beignets, as well as house-made gelato. The Market also features a wide range of jams, jellies, sauces, baking mixes, a frozen food section, as well as a small section of charming accessories.
While Market Orleans is something new and exciting in Western New Providence, and provides a relaxing spot for a meal on the go or to be savored and enjoyed during a lazy breakfast or lunch, the Louis & Steen’s team recently announced a third location. Their espresso bar will soon be opening on Gladstone Road, just minutes away from the Fusion Superplex.
